Description

Start at the top of Hidden Peak, the high point of the Snowbird Resort. Start off on an access road which loops around the tram deck and restaurant. For 1 mile, run down the Peruvian ridge until descending switchbacks in to Peruvian gulch. From there a mix of single track and access road before the final switchback descent to the Snowbird base. The run ends at the main center for summer activities by the tram base. How many times can you spot the tram? Heading down the Peruvian ridge, Gad Valley is to the left and Peruvian gulch to the right. To the far left down the canyon is Salt Lake City.

This is part of the course of the Speedgoat 28K/50K (July) and Cirque Series (September) held every year.

*** This course has been re-recorded as of 2023 with nicer weather and a better finish (Peruvian Descent 5K - Snowbird, Utah).
