Figure of eight loop around Beamish and Consett in the North East of England. Much of the ride is off road on the National Cycle route 7 and 14 and regional cycle route 11. There is very little flat, it is all up or down! I've edited out most of the misnavigation but it is still in sync with the GPS data. You may need your sunglasses on as the sun was bright and very low at the beginning when this was filmed. I stopped at the 'Terra Novalis' sculpture, which is a local landmark, so that you can appreciate it. I had to cut the video short as the rain on the camera lens was causing too much distortion, so the virtual figure of eight is not complete.
