I live northeast of Munich in Ismaning in the district of Munich. Here cross the bike paths Isarradweg, Sempt-Isen Radweg and the Munich Radel Ring. In my spare time I cycle or hike in Bavaria and Austria.

Since November 2020, I record my ventures with 2.0 Hypersmooth stabilisation or with 4.0 Hypersmooth stabilisation. Previously recorded videos with poor stabilization I have deleted. These tours are gradually recorded again and eröffentlicht.

I hope you enjoy getting to know the Bavarian and Austrian landscapes.

Start the approximately 85 km long tour through the valley of the Schwarze Laber at Neumarkt i.d.OPf. railway station. Depending on your physical condition and thirst for knowledge, you can experience the route in stages of different lengths. The division into 3 stages is a suggestion that gives you enough time to discover the beauties of the valley of the Schwarze Laber and you can convince yourself of the hospitality of the accommodation establishments. Take your time - there is much to discover and the unique Jura landscape invites you to relax and unwind. The cycling and hiking trail through the valley of the Schwarze Laber also has another special feature. In 2013, artistically designed pavilions were built along the river at several locations, each of which provides information on a sub-section of the overarching theme "River - Valley of the Black Laber". In the communities further away from the river, information gates in the same style were created, through which one can symbolically enter or leave the valley. In addition, "blue reading stones" (60-90 cm large, blue dolomite stones) support the guidance along the route and between the information pavilions. They lie as a "blue band" along the "Schwarze Laber". This distinguishes the Schwarze Laber Rad-Wander-Weg from other cycle paths. Please note: The cycle path - especially in the area between Lupburg and Laaber - has some natural sections and partly leads over narrow forest or meadow paths (including one or two roots). It was deliberately not designed for racing bike tours. A mountain bike or trekking bike is best suited for your tour.
