The Sydney Marathon in 2025 will be the first year it is one of the Abbott World Marathon Majors. This run follows the planned route from 8-18km as close as is feasible , The actual route goes back over the Western Distributor. Once you are over the Pyrmont (pedestrian only) bridge the route is pretty much following the Sydney Marathon route.
