Brouwersdam
The almost 6 kilometre long Brouwersdam is located in the provinces of both South-Holland as Zeeland and was being constructed between 1962 and 1971.
On the 30th of March 1973, the main road on the dam named the N57 was put into occupation for the first time.
The Brouwersdam splits the North Sea from lake Grevelingen, the largest salt water lake of Western-Europe.
