This out-and-back ride, shot on a warm day in late winter, follows a city bike path in Provo, Utah along the river that runs through town. Horizon views are of snow-capped mountains. Between about the 2.9 and 3.0 mile marks, you'll pass through a couple of very narrow tunnels---too narrow for someone to pass going the other direction. So, make sure to yell "Coming through" while you ride through these tunnels. You don't want another cyclist or a runner to enter from the opposite side and cause a collision!
If you want to do a longer (about 22.4 miles total) ride of the Provo River Trail, do this ride until the turn-around point at Will's Pit Stop (about mile 5.6). Then, stop and do my Provo River Trail - Will's Pit Stop to Bridal Veil Picnic Area ride, another out-and-back ride that starts/ends at this ride's turn-around point and heads up the canyon. When you finish that ride, resume this ride to return to where you started.
