Climbing Trail 47 at Fort Ord to the Corkscrew at the Laguna Seca Racetrack. I have been there many times to watch races, but never rode there on a mountain bike.
The Corkscrew and its steep, blind descent is one of the factors that makes Laguna Seca famous. The corner entry is blind, seeing nothing but sky as the drivers goes up the long uphill from the front of the course. After a quick left-right chicane, the track drops nearly five stories in a very short 400-feet of asphalt and dives into the very fast Turn 9.
