Description
First part of a long ride looping around the Pentland Hills, south west of Edinburgh. This ride is on the eastern side of the hills , mostly flat or uphill with some offroad tracks. After a slightly cloudy start, most of the ride is in glorious sunshine, a rarity in Scotland and, once out of the town, it is mostly on very quiet roads. I've removed some mis-navigations but the video is still in sync with the GPS track. The gradient profile is dependent on the accuracy of GPS elevation measurement in the app on my phone.
