Ireland ☘️ 🇮🇪 - Dublin Highlights🏃‍♂️

This vibrant running session takes us through the very heart of Dublin, soaking in its history, energy, and charm step by step. We kick off on Grafton Street, one of the city's most iconic and bustling pedestrian streets, always full of life. From there, we head to the historic Trinity College, where we run through the elegant campus that has educated many of Ireland’s great minds. Crossing over, we make our way to O'Connell Street, Dublin’s main thoroughfare, where we pass by the striking Spire of Dublin—officially called the Monument of Light—a 120-meter tall sculpture that towers over the city skyline, symbolizing Ireland’s forward-looking spirit. Just past it, we spot the new Portal installation, a live video link that connects Dublin with New York City in real time—a fascinating symbol of modern connection between two great cities. From there, we run along the River Liffey, passing several of its elegant bridges until we reach the charming Ha'penny Bridge, Dublin’s most beloved pedestrian bridge. Its name comes from the half-penny toll once charged to cross it back in the 19th century. The route then flows into the Temple Bar district, where colorful streets, Irish flags, and lively pubs fill the air with music and character. Finally, we end at the historic Dublin Castle, a place that has witnessed centuries of Irish history and still stands proudly in the city centre.
