Venetian Lagoon Islands. A tour of Isola di Pellestrina (Pellestrina Island) travelling from north to south. We start by the ferry point at Santa Maria del Mare and head south to Pellestrina along pretty coastal paths and roads through fishing villages to the ferry point at Pellestrina. We enjoy sunshine the whole way and are accompanied by sea views most of the ride. Pellestrina is an island that forms a barrier between the southern Venetian Lagoon and the Adriatic sea.
