☀️🇳🇱 Amstel Gold Race, Section Only Climb Gulperberg from Gulpen, with some historical information in the Description.

This section of the Amstel Gold Race is only the Climb Gulperberg from Gulpen.

At the top of the Gulperberg there is a Monument placed for Jean Nelissen. He was Together with Mart Smeets the best Cycling Commentator in the Netherlands. Jean Nelissen died in 2010. The Monument is placed on 14 April 2016, 3 Days before the Amstel Gold Race to honor Jean Nelissen. Perhaps a Coincident, but Mart Smeets commented this year on 17 April 2016 his last Amstel Gold Race, 3 days after the monument to Honor Jean Nelissen was placed. Jean Nelissen Commented Cycling races from 1969 till 2010 and his partner Mart Smeets commented from 1978 till 2010 together with Jean Nelissen all Cycling races and stopped on 17 April 2016 commenting Cycling Races.
