Descrizione

Zwolle is the capital of the province of Overijssel. It is located on the Zwarte Water River and close to the IJssel river. This ride starts in the heart of town and heads south to the IJssel river. Along the way you will climb the Bus bridge which lets public tranport busses cross the railaway. Due to construction works the bridge was not in use, but was open for cyclists and pedestrians. This bridge is a nice medium climb. Continuing south you will cross the Engelse werk (now a park, but used to be a fortress). You will cross the IJssel using the railwaybridge before heading west to the road bridge to head back to Zwolle. Here you will again climb the bus bridge (2 times) before followint the Zwarte Water for a while. Finally you will see all the green north of Zwolle near Langenholte
