Clackmannan to Dunfermline
Before you do this video you should have a look at the map. The ride takes you along National Cycle Route 764 which is built on the route of the old Alloa to Dunfermline railway line. In other words, it's a long straight path - although it does pass through some rather pretty woods that are just starting to turn with the coming of Autumn. The ride starts just outside Clackmannan which is at an altitude of 30mtrs and finishes in Dunfermline at an altitude of 120mtrs so although the ride feels much like a long flat ride you are actually climbing all the time over the 17.5kms ride. There is one brief pause in the video when I stop to let an elderly horse pass me safely. 😊
