Lekdijk Vianen - Rhenen
The Lekdijk is an important dyke that has been protecting the regions of Utrecht and Holland for 800 years.
The dike has many histories: from disasters, national defense, harvesting, dike care and nature.
Much history is still visible around the dike. For centuries the dike has always been adapted to the natural behavior of the river.
Bends in the river and the dike still show this.
