描述
A long looped ride to East Saltoun and back to Edinburgh. After leaving the outskirts of South Edinburgh, the ride takes you towards Dalkeith, through its back roads and then out into the countryside towards Elphingstone. Continuing on through Pencaitland, the road climbs towards East Saltoun, before turning back to West Saltoun and on towards Gorebridge. From Gorebridge onwards the route is undulating but slowly loosing height until we eventually come back into Edinburgh. Just to hurt over the last bit before Edinburgh, you go through Roslin Glen, with a 16 degree positive gradient ( according to the signpost at least!). Enjoy!
