Welcome to Truckee-Tahoe area. This ride goes down from Mt Rose Summit all the way to the lake shore. Mt Rose Summit is the highest year-round mountain pass in the Sierras at 8,911 feet (2670 m), offering views & ski access. There are a few scenic views of the lake on the way down. This was a sketchy downhill with a dirty shoulder with many patches of loose gravel, rumble strips, traffic and road construction. Wear your helmet and hold on tight!
