Following the Eurovelo 8 cycling path, we travel from Vrsar to Rovinj via the Lim Fjord and the Štrika-Ferata cycle path. We travel along quiet cycle paths, minor roads and coastline trails. Vrsar is a beautiful Istrian coastal town, just south of Porec. This particular route does get quite steep from time to time, as we skirt the gravel paths along the Limski Fjord. We then join the Štrika-Ferata cycle path, which has been repurposed from the former Rovinj-Kanfanar railway branch. It's now a dedicated gravel cycle path, suitable for most bicycles. Finally we finish at the stunning Croatian coastal town of Rovinj.
