Antrona Schieranco is the main village of the Antrona Valley and was born in 1928 from the merger of two pre-existing Ossola municipalities, Antrona Piana and Schieranco, both rich in historical evidence.
Its territory, together with that of the municipality of Borgomezzavalle, is part of the Alta Valle Antrona Natural Park.
