Follow us on the Sliding Sands Trail 🇺🇸 - An absolutely fascinating hike!🥾 We start at nearly 3000 m altitude at the crater rim of the Haleakalā volcano, the dominant volcano on the island of Maui, Hawai’i 🌋🌴🌺. On our hike we descend almost 500m into the massive, kilometer-sized crater. Enjoy the gigantic views that the third largest mountain in the world (only about 5% are above the water surface) has to offer! 🗻
