Carron Bridge To Auchenbowie
I usually do this route in reverse from North to South where the initial climb is not so steep but is much longer. This route gets the initial climb over and done with in the first few hundred metres leaving you to enjoy long spells of fast downhill with some gorgeous Scottish scenery. The roads are very quiet meeting largely only fellow cyclists. It finishes just outside the small hamlet of Auchenbowie which is centred around the old mansion. The final frames have views across the fields to Stirling and the Wallace Monument.
