The Groene Gordelroute (Green Belt Route) is a scenic cycling route around Brussels. The section between Nossegem and Hummelgem offers a mix of rural charm and interesting sights. In Nossegem you can watch planes take off and land, while Hummelgem is known for its green surroundings and the Groene Vallei (Green Valley) Visitor Centre, an ideal base for exploring the region. This part of the route is perfect for a relaxing bike ride through the Flemish countryside.
