Starting high above the Meuse river in Belgium, you start with a short climb to the village of Blaimont. From there you descent to the river Meuse in Hastière. Here RAVEL 156, a former railway line makes a nice but easy climb over some 20ish kilometers. At Matange-la-Grande, we descend into the valley of the Viroin river, a tributary of the Meuse. It is a nice descent down. Shortly after Treigne you will enter France at La Cité du Maroc. After a few kilometers you will meet the Meuse river at the confluence with the Viroin and follow the river north to the border town of Givet. A varied ride with medium and easy climbs and various landscapes.
