You are about to enjoy some very unique views from the top of the Sweeney ridge, with on one side the pacific ocean and the city of Pacifica, and on the other side the San Andreas Lake with San Francisco Airport and the San Francisco Bay in the background. All that on a beautiful day with no fog, no less! :)
You will start the ride on Sweeney Meadow Trail, heading down the fun singletrack trail towards Pacifica first, then going back up to the top of the ridge. Go by the San Francisco Bay Discovery Site with the serpentine rock monument commemorating the Portola expedition and the Ohlone people (the original people of San Francisco). Then go down Sweeney Ridge trail and Sneath Lane and enjoy the incredible views of the Bay Area!
