This is the second segment of a multi-segment 50-mile eastbound ride of the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes from Harrison, ID to old mining town and self-proclaimed Center of the Universe, Wallace, ID.

This second segment of the ride continues along the Coeur d'Alene River through Idaho's chain-of-lakes region from Cave Lake / Medimont to just beyond Blackrock gulch.

The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes is one of the crown jewels of US Rail Trails and is on the Rail Trail Hall of Fame. The full trail covers 72 paved miles through scenic mountains and valleys in Idaho's Panhandle.
