Bonnybridge to Carron Valley
The roads through Carron Valley have featured in many of my videos but I've not published this route to get there before. Even though I have cycled to and through the Carron Valley many, many times before I still took a small wrong turn at 3kms in.
The route starts on the outskirts of Bonnybridge, initially taking some shortcuts through some housing schemes, but very quickly gets into the gorgeous, quiet country roads alongside Drumbowie Reservoir and then up over the Denny hills before travelling West alongside the River Carron to the tiny villages of Carron Bridge and Carron Valley. The original intention was to film until the very end of the valley but unfortunately, my GoPro had other ideas.
