Beschreibung

Kaag is the oldest of all village centers in the municipality of Kaag en Braassem. The village center is located on an island and can only be reached by water. The island can be reached by boat or ferry. In most cases, Kaag is called Kaag Island. Since the Kagerplassen are nearby, Kaageiland is an excellent base for water recreation. There are marinas, sailing schools, boat rentals and restaurants. Furthermore, the sailing competitions of the annual Kaagweek are both nationally and internationally known. Ferry Kaag Walking around the island feels like a holiday. Here everything is just a little quieter and more relaxed, while you are still in the middle of the Randstad.
