The Silver Comet Rail Trail is a 61-mile rail trail that stretches from the Alabama-Georgia state line to Smyrna, Georgia. It is on the same rail corridor as the Chief Ladiga Rail Trail in Alabama.
The combined Chief Ladiga - Silver Comet trails provide a 90-mile corridor available for non-motorized travel from Smynra, Georgia to Anniston, Alabama.
Tip: Start looking for some squirrel action on the path at 3.445 miles!
