This is a ride eastbound across prairie, farmland and woodlands on the Katy Rail Trail in the State of Missouri.
This segment starts at the Green Ridge trailhead and ends at the Sedalia Depot and marks the end of my first of five days riding the Katy Trail in early October 2020.
The Katy Rail Trail is nearly 240 miles long and spans nearly the full width of Missouri. It is the longest continuous rail-trail in the United States, is in the Rail-Trail Hall of Fame, and is designated a Millennium Legacy Trail.
