Walk between the two lakes, enjoying a sunny day. Be cooled by a refreshing breeze coming from the water... Rakitje lakes are a group of four small artificial lakes in the vicinity of Zagreb, Croatia's capital. It appears that in this lake area some contradictory interests play a role: Tourist organizations (cafe/restaurant, camp), fishermen club and building industry are all active there. The nature is really nice and it is a pity that one can not make a meaningful and enjoyable walk around all four lakes. That was my impression in 2023...
