Shieldhill to Blackridge

This is one of my first cycle rides after being laid low with Coronavirus for a number of weeks. I took it easy and followed one of my usual routes and wasn't expecting to publish the video. However, I noticed a road closed for many months for bridge repairs was now open again and decided to take it. It was a beautiful morning with the sun shining and the skies clear after a stormy and rainy night. I ended up cycling much further than I had intended doing 22 miles (35 km) but this video covers just a short section of the ride. It's mainly on the level through gorgeous open countryside with just a few not too steep inclines. It starts just outside Shieldhill, o the South of my home town of Falkirk and finishes at the village of Blackridge. And yes I did go through a red light at the start of the video - it was broken and stuck on red. 😃
