Travel from the Tasman Sea on the West Coast of New Zealand to the Pacific Ocean on the East Coast in a series of 7 rides of about 40 km each. .
Start at Kumara which was the center of the last great gold rush in New Zealand in 1864, at this time there were 41 hotels on the main street, as you ride through you will see the remaining hotel on the left. Rather than follow the main road to Jacksons this ride takes the back road through dense native bush and past the southern shores of Lake Brunner. It then passes through farm land crossing the Taramakau River and finishing at the Jacksons Hotel.
