Tour de Africa - South Africa Edition

TOUR DE AFRICA™ presents a GRAND TOUR PURSUIT, to take-on over twenty one iconic routes from South Africa and, our Continent  - covering over 1 000km and 13 000m of vertical elevation. By participating in this PURSUIT, you will be featured on our leader boards, earn points for completing presented segments and improving your rank and, bonus points for participating in Real-Life Pursuits as well as completing Capital Sprint and Climb Pursuits. These points accumulate and enable you to unlock even more rewards, as well as to crown the overall Tour de Africa Champion. 

You can participate by joining our TOUR DE AFRICA™ STRAVA Club and, challenging the current leaders or improving your rank. You can also ride these routes virtually on KINOMAP – the world’s largest free sharing platform - as they become available and uploading these to STRAVA.

TOUR DE AFRICA™ is presented by Africa’s #1 Continental Road Cycling Team – PROTOUCH PRO CYCLING – who, will also be recording these routes as part of a Documentary Series, to promote South Africa; cyclo-tourism and the ability for cycling enthusiasts to ride [and race] our country and continent, from anywhere in the World; and, our cause - to raise funds for the Phil Liggett Foundation, so that we can get more South African riders onto the World Stage!
