Description

Mayfield to Culross

A frequent ride for me is along the cycle path built on the old railway line between Alloa and Dunfermline (National Cycle route 764). I had set out to travel this route on this day and, as I had travelled it many times before, I hadn't planned to video it. However, this November day it was barely above freezing so, when I started to feel chilled, I turned off NCR 764 to head more directly for home. As I hadn't filmed this particular road before I pressed record on my GoPro. This video is the result. It was a lovely sunny day and the ride is mostly downhill - I did have to take one detour to avoid some road works - until it hits the coast road that takes us into the lovely historic town of Culross. The video continues on past there but I chose not to upload this section.
