Starting on the eastern slope of a greened hillock with a church at the foot of the hill and a wind generator atop overlooking Munich, this site is Munich's former waste dump.
When the original village of Freimann was relocated to create space for Munich's waste dump, the church was preserved since it is the oldest church on Munich city grounds.
The ride then crosses the Autobahn to Allianz Arena, home of FC Bayern.
Passing a BMW dealership, the ride doubles back to then cross the suburban railway line (S-Bahn) towards "Southern Fröttmaning Heathland".
Finally, a stroll around the FC Bayern youth training campus before the ride tracks back across the railway line to the starting point.
The four grouped cone-shaped metal color towers near Allianz Arena belong to the "Klärwerk Großlappen" sewage water treatment plant.
