Description

A short (and quiet) impression of the Waalse Pijl / Flèche de Wallonie in the Ardennes, Belgium, in 31 May 2014. In this ride one can do 89, 136, 176 or 217 km. I did the first. Among thousands of men (and some women) I am the only one on a touring bike. Just see how I am overtaken by all these sporty people and how also my girlfriend (in pink, on a sort of ATB) stays ahead of me. The landscape is astonishing at some (actually many) places. The ride takes off from the town of Spa. By the way, most of the route is rural.
