Fog is common during winter in California's central valley and is known as Tule Fog. On this ride, start in central valley, leave the fog behind and ride up the sunny foothills to enter Gold Country, end the ride in Bangor and its wineries. The days being shorter, the sun was going down at the end of our ride, making for some beautiful lanscapes with the long shadows and the sun color turning yellow...
