Camelon to Kilsyth
My normal route to Kilsyth to start one of my favourite (hated! 😃) hill climbs is along the Forth and Clyde canal towpath. However, to mix things up I decided this day to take the most direct route along the main roads through the Stirlingshire towns of Camelon, Bonnybridge, Longcroft and Banknock. It's not a particularly busy road with traffic so felt quite safe. Equally, though it's not a particularly interesting road for scenery. It is almost all flat though with only a couple of small inclines.
