Anniesland to Stockingfield
The video here covers a longer ride along the Forth and Clyde canal from Glasgow to Kirkintilloch. This one covers just the initial few kilometres through the part of the canal that runs through the North of the city of Glasgow before it ends at Stockingfield Junction. Stockingfield is a bit of a building site at the moment because of a huge £12.5m project to install a bridge over the canal junction that will connect the three communities of Ruchill, Gilshochill and Maryhill. You can read and see more of this ambitious project here. Once complete we will no longer have to leave the cycle paths at this junction.
