Start from Scotts Pass near the top of the Park City Mountain and access point from the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon. Descend down to Shadow Lake, then a flat level run as you traverse a ridge. Turn around the north end of the ridge and descend as you have wide open views of the Park City Mountain. Some of these trails are part of the Jupiter Peak Steeplechase held every July.
