Chleb (1645.6 m) is the third highest peak of Malá Fatra. It is located in Kriváňská Malá Fatra on the main ridge and is separated from Veľký Kriváň by the Snilovské sedlo. At its peak is the Chleb National Nature Reserve of the same name. Chleb is located in Kriváňská Malá Fatra on the main ridge near the peaks of Velký Kriváň and Poludňový grúň. It is an excellent vantage point with a circular view. Its northern slopes are strangely shaped into the so-called "Chlebský kotle", a remnant of ancient landslides. On the northern side, the river Varínka springs at an altitude of approximately 1,300 m. Skiers like to look for it for this peculiarity, because snow stays here long until spring (the well-known slope Oštiepková mulda). On the south side, the slope is formed by the pre-peak Bochník. Pod Chlebem, on its southern side there is a year-round Cottage pod Chlebom. Visitors have simplified access to Chleb by an eight-seater cable car. Its upper station is at an altitude of 1490 m and the lower station is 740 m in the Vrátna chalet with a total height difference of 750 m. The transport speed of the cable car is 5 m / s [1]
