Coll d'Honor to Lloseta

I was on holiday on the beautiful island of Mallorca in Spain and wanted to cycle some of the hills to keep up my fitness levels. Cycling in Mallorca is heaven. Most of the time the weather is glorious, the roads are super smooth and the other road users and motorists are extremely courteous to cyclists - I think to some extent that's because they realise the value cycling tourism has to the island.

This ride follows on from this video that finishes at the top of the Coll d'Honor (550m above sea level). It is predominantly downhill taking you through the gorgeous village of Orient, skirting Alaro before finishing up outside the town of Lloseta.

I'd been warned beforehand that the downhill descent into Orient was quite bumpy and had quite a few areas of bad road surface and potholes. Despite the warning, one particular bump pushed my camera down and I'm afraid that there is period of around 2 minutes where the camera is pointing more toward the ground than the road ahead. I did eventually spot it had slipped and moved it back but didn't have time to go back and re-film. Given there is no stop in the video it shouldn't impact your workout at all.

The bike I used for these rides is a beautifully light stainless steel bike made by Independent Fabrication and on hire from n+1 Bicycles in Pollenca.
