Descripción
Touring on bike paths and roads around Racine, which is on Lake Michigan just north of Chicago. We were new to the area and using GPS instructions so you may notice a number of cuts where we went the wrong wa¥ or had to detour around road construction. We were in town to see the SC Johnson Wax Global Headquarters administration building which was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and built between 1936 and 1939. It is still an amazing building. The roof is supported by many tall concrete "lily pads" and all the windows are in the ceiling, and constructed of large glass tubes that are glued together. SC Johnson makes many household products like "Off" bug spray and "ZipLock" sandwhich bags.
