Bisbee, Arizona is an old copper mining town. The Copper Queen Mine is no longer in operation, but they give *excellent* guided tours - and the guides are often people who used to work in the mine when it was operating!
Since the mine shut down in the 1970s, Bisbee has transformed itself to something of an artist and hippie community with an eclectic charm and a lively history.
