Starting from Dorfgastein, we now follow the Alpe Adria Trail (Eurovelo 7) into Bad Hofgastein. We then follow the Gasteiner Ache river (separating from the EV 7 briefly). It's a beautiful and easy route to Badbruck, where we then combine with the EV7 once again. From here, it gets very steep as we ascend up into Bad Gastein. We then re-join the Gasteiner Ache (Gasteinertal Radweg) as we reach Böckstein. We travel further to Böckstein railway station, where we board the Tauern motorail (Autoschleuse Böckstein - Mallnitz) with our bicycle to Mallnitz.
