Description

An MTB ride around some of the roads and lanes close to my house. It was much too wet and muddy to ride off road as it rained for all of the two previous days. The route starts and finishes in Wotton under Edge and passes along the edge of the Cotswold Hills through a number of scenic villages and nice countryside. My youngest son is on my old bike and I tried to keep well back from him so you could see the road ahead. I am riding a Specialized Turbo Levo SL 1.1 eMTB as now I am 66, it was getting too hard to keep up with him, especially up the hills. Recorded on the 4th May 2024 using a GoPro10 for the video and GPS. Settings are 1080p, 30fps, linear with HL, EIS boost and GoPro Lab settings of BITR = 8 kb/s to make the file size smaller, and TUSB to use an external battery. The file size is 4GB per hour of video so any information about how to reduce the file size will be welcome. I would like to use 2.7K or 4K but the file sizes are then too large to upload reliably.
