Larbert to Airth
This is one of my favourite short cycling trips from near my house. I usually use it to test out changes to my bike after an upgrade or general maintenance. I also try to beat my times from previous runs - especially if I ever get a tailwind! :-) There are six Strava segments in total on this and I have a target of 3m 30s to beat my best time of 4m 0s on the last segment - Moss Road to the Pineapple. The current KOM on that is 2m 54s.
The ride is mostly on the flat with just one small, short incline as it passes Plean Castle. The rest is mostly flat (or downhill) and all through local farmland on quiet roads. The ride ends at the entrance to the Pineapple just outside Airth.
