Descrizione

Sauchie to Bridge of Allan

This route takes you along some National Cycle Routes through Clackmannanshire and Stirlingshire. Most of the route is on dedicated cycle paths and has very few inclines. The route starts in the little village of Sauchie just outside Alloa and continues along the old railway line - the Devon Valley Line - that used to run between Alloa and Tillicoultry and beyond. From Tillicoultry, the ride heads West along another dedicated cycle path taking us through the villages of Alva and Menstrie before finally passing by the Wallace Monument and coming to a halt in Bridge of Allan.

This video was filmed on a gorgeous sunny day and was part of a much longer 70kms ride. The other videos covering this route will be available shortly.
