Crossmichael to Dalbeattie

Hot on the heels of my weeks holiday on the Isle of Harris I then took a week-long break based in the lovely rural town of Dalbeattie In Dumfriesshire.  Dalbeattie is well known for having some fantastic mountain bike trails - many accessible from the town itself - but I chose to take my road bike and had some fabulous rides in some gorgeous sunny weather.

This ride starts just outside the small village of Crossmichael before continuing through some gorgeous countryside to the quaintly named village of Old Bridge of Urr. It then continues through narrow farm land roads until finally, we return to Dalbeattie.

This is part 3 of a circular Kirkcudbrightshire route from Dalbeattie. I'd love to say it was deliberately cut into three to suit Kinomap but a combination of traffic lights; GoPro malfunctions and me getting lost meant I had to split it up.
