Bike. 36 km Winter Netherlands - Limburg - Belgium Vijlen - Vaalserberg - Belgium - Mechelen 1h48 min 36,1 km Sunny winter day A clockwise tour climbing the hills and descending to the valleys of Limburg (southernmost part of The Netherlands) and the Wallonia and Flanders regions of Belgium. Starting in the small city of Vijlen, climbing to the Vaalserberg (Vaalser Mountain) 323 m alt. (as high as it gets in The Netherlands), At this point The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany meet at the Borden Triangle. From thereon west, approximately following the Belgium/Netherlands border, through the forests and meadows of Wallonia and Flanders, to the village of Teuven. Then north/north-east, back to The Netherlands, the city of Mechelen, through the Elzetterbosch (Elzetter forest) and back to Vijlen. With markers every (few) kilometer(s) (and some information on the surroundings). Footage 7 March 2022
