🦁👑 Lion Trail 2a/100: Sendrazice –⁠⁠ Sany | Central Bohemia

Project intro, roadmap & contest rules below. Part 2a/100: After leaving the royal town of Kolin behind us in Part 1b we are going to nearly circumnavigate the Toyota car factory (formerly TPCA – Toyota/Peugeot/Citroën) in Ovcary and then head through fields, pastures and a mixed forest towards the village called Sany.

The Lion Trail  is an epic, nearly 2000 km long cycling itinerary in mixed terrain packed with diverse natural, historical & cultural landmarks and sights in the Czech Republic. It is divided into 100 sections of various difficulty levels; joined together they form the Bohemian lion—the state emblem—on a map. Majority of the trail weaves through Central Bohemia, with Prague in the role of the lion's heart, but it also visits East, North, West and South Bohemia as well.

Originally a part of a campaign of ŠKODA Auto launched in 2018 to celebrate 100 years since the former Czechoslovakia has been established, now getting an endless virtual life on Kinomap.
